Cub Code
The Cub Code is a framework that we are using at Joy Elementary. It is based on Positive Behavior Intervention & Support (PBIS). Students are reinforced for positive behaviors while clear consequences are spelled out for negative behaviors. Bottom line, we try to catch the students "being good" and doing the right thing. There are 4 areas we are focused on this year: Respectful, Responsible, Safe, and Involved. Ask your child about the Cub Code!
Attached you will find our Behavior Expectation Matrix. Feel free to download the matrix and see our expectations in different areas of the school.
Also you can download our Cub Code Logo! Next time you are in our school, ask about our Cub Code Magnets!
